I keep my daily skincare routine simple. Since I don’t wear makeup to work, I wash my face with my favorite cleaners. There are four key products that I use throughout the year. Since I have a mild case of eczema, I do not use a lot of products on my skin to avoid breakouts. As the weather changes, my skin tends to dry out a bit, so I must use a good moisturizer. My go-to is the Palmer’s Shea Formula Raw Shaw Butter (if your skin tends to be on the oily side this product may be too heavy for you). This moisturizer adds the oil back to my skin, and it also helps to even my skin tone. It helps to fade dark spots as well.

Before I apply the moisturizer, I wash my face good using my Clarisonic Mia 1 face brush. If you have considered getting one of the brushes I highly recommend it, a warning though when you initially start using it your skin may go through some breakouts. This is due to the brush getting in there and cleaning which causes the skin to “purge” all the build-up that was below the surface. I would say mine lasted for about two weeks. Once it passed those few weeks my skin was radiant!!
To cleanse my face, I use the Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleaner and the Yes! To Grapefruits exfoliating cleanser. Now with the exfoliator, I only use this once a week, any more than that would be too harsh on the skin. However, if you wear make-up every day, you may want to do it more. I follow these steps at night before bed and wake up with a fresh face. I do you cleanse your skin?
